Looks like a servo.... Smells like a servo....  must be a servo.

I have been trying some EXI servos lately in things over the past year or so I been using the small digital 213F servos in my 450 heli's and in some foamies.  I like the little 9 gram servos for these uses and they work great.  There around 8 bucks depending if you can catch them onsale.  There metal gear fast and strong. I like these vs the cheaper plastic gear ones.  With the foamies I tend to beat them up and just looking at the servo wrong seems to strip those plastic gears.  I haven't had any problems out of them so I decided to try the bigger ones.  I have been purchasing mine from www.hobbypartz.com.  They have been a good source for me for a lot of projects I have been working on that require faster shipping and good prices.  I just purchased two of these D227F 60g servos.  I am using them on a stabilized camera mount I am working with and will be using GA250 gyros to stabilize the axis's.  So far they working well they are strong and center well.  I am still playing around with the gain and modes of the gyro to get the best results.  I hope to have more information as I work things out over the next couple weeks.

Here are the spec's for the servo.
